Parent Management training (PMT)

Supporting Parents, Strengthening Families

Parent Management Training is an evidence-based approach that helps parents and caregivers develop effective strategies for supporting children’s emotional and behavioral needs.  PMT focuses on long-term skill building and is tailored to each family’s needs through focusing on strengthening the parent–child relationship, improving communication, and reducing patterns that contribute to ongoing challenges at home.

At Family Growth Center, LLC Parent Management Training is offered by a clinician with specialized PMT certification who works collaboratively with parents to support each family’s unique needs.

What Parents Can Expect

  • Greater confidence responding to challenging behavior

  • Clear, consistent parenting strategies

  • Fewer power struggles and reactive moments

  • Stronger parent–child relationships

  • Practical tools that work at home and across settings
